We need your help!

Baby & Me needs new volunteers to join the committee. Please speak to any member of the current committee, to find out more, without any volunteers the group will not continue!

How can I help?

If anyone can spare just a few minutes to help set up before a session we would really appreciate it. As usual the rota will be doing the rounds so please put your name down if you can.

We only have use of the Hub until 11.30am each week so we need to start clearing up at 11.20am. If you wouldn’t mind putting away your own chair and your cups on the counter then this will save us a lot of time.

What does joining the committee involve?

• Planning and booking guest speakers, tasters, and events.
• Advertising the group’s activities and events.
• Managing the finances, banking the money after each group, dealing with expenses.
• Being Friday leader; setting up hall, putting out mats, chair’s and toys. Serving drinks and biscuits. Tidying away.

These tasks when shared amongst a small group of volunteers are easily managed!

What will I get out of helping?

• Feeling part of a group and the wider community.
• Meet other Mums and make friends.
• Keep a valuable group going for yourself and others.
• Help control what happens, e.g. events, new purchases.
• Looks great on a C.V. when the time comes to return to work from Maternity leave.
